Arena Breakout: Infinite, the tactical extraction shooter from MoreFun Studios, is set to ignite the genre once again with its highly anticipated new season, IGNITION, launching April 29. This update promises a wealth of fresh content, gameplay enhancements, and new modes.

What’s New in IGNITION?
Northridge Map:
IGNITION introduces Northridge, a sprawling outdoor map nestled in the Onotos mountains. The centerpiece, Northridge Hotel, is now occupied by Boss Fred and his squad, turning it into a strategic hotspot. The map’s dynamic weather creates ever-changing tactical scenarios. Its open design catering to diverse playstyles.
Secure Ops Mode:
This innovative mode allows players to keep their equipped firearms even after death, making it perfect for those wanting to learn the map or enjoy a lower-risk experience.
New Team Game Modes:
Two new team-based modes arrive on the Gas Station and Warehouse maps:
Team Deathmatch: Fast-paced respawn action, with victory going to the first team to hit the kill target.
Team Elimination: A turn-based mode where the last team standing wins, emphasizing strategy and teamwork.
Lone Wolf Mode:
Responding to community demand, a solo mode will be available as a limited-time event, allowing players to test their skills alone in a high-stakes environment.
New Weapons:
The arsenal expands with the AK12, SVTU, MCX, and new pistols, offering more tactical options and personalization for every firefight.
Gameplay Improvements:
All base maps now feature more searchable containers and safes, extraction points have been increased and relaxed, and weapon handling has been improved.

Personal Hands-On Experience:
As a lifelong fan of shooters and tactical games, the announcement of Arena Breakout: Infinite’s new season immediately caught my attention. My anticipation only grew after meeting the developers at Gamescom 2024, where I was impressed by their passion for fair play and commitment to anti-cheat measures—particularly the integration of the F.A.C.U.L. AI companion, which enhances both gameplay and integrity.
From April 10-14, I alongside my colleague Eden Nir, participated in the IGNITION preview. Our experience was overwhelmingly positive:
Realism and Weapon Handling:
The game strikes a satisfying balance between realism and playability. Weapons feel precise and impactful, with aiming and shooting mechanics that reward skill. Importantly, Arena Breakout: Infinite avoids the sometimes punishing hyper-realism of titles like Escape from Tarkov, making it more accessible while still challenging.
Game Modes and Accessibility:
We especially enjoyed the new 4v4 modes, which added variety and a fresh layer of strategy. The user interface is intuitive and responsive, making it easy for both newcomers and veterans to jump in and enjoy the action.
Content and Community:
While our hands-on time was limited to the beta, it’s clear that IGNITION lays the groundwork for ongoing content updates. The free-to-play model, combined with the developers’ focus on community building and fair competition, positions Arena Breakout: Infinite as a must-try for fans of tactical shooters.

Final Thoughts:
Arena Breakout: Infinite’s IGNITION season is shaping up to be a significant milestone for the franchise. With its blend of new maps, modes, weapons, and quality-of-life improvements, it offers something for both hardcore tacticians and casual action fans. As someone who values both gameplay depth and community engagement, I’m excited to see how the game evolves and confident that shooter enthusiasts will find plenty to love when IGNITION launches on April 29.
Whether you’re a veteran of the genre or a newcomer looking for a fresh challenge, Arena Breakout: Infinite’s new season is well worth your attention. Get ready to shoot, loot, and survive- your next tactical adventure awaits.
